Music video and concert documentary legend turned first time filmmaker Autumn de Wilde brings a bold new vision of Jane Austen’s beloved comedy and reveals her leading lady. Anya Taylor-Joy stars as the legendary matchmaker who loves to play cupid and put her nose in other people’s business. Handsome, clever, and rich, Emma is the queen bee of her sleepy town and the name on everyone’s lips as her meddling appears to have caused quite the upset. Billing itself as a glittering satire of social class and the pain of growing up, Emma follows the heroine's adventure through misguided matches and romantic missteps to find her happy ever after. Johnny Flynn co-stars as her Mr Knightley and leads an exciting support cast that includes Billy Nighy as Emma’s father, Mia Goth as Harriet Smith, Gemma Whelan and Mrs Weston, Josh O’Connor as Mr Elton, Callum Turner as Frank Churchhill, and Miranda Hart as Miss Bates.
