Elemental Trailer

A beautiful, but all too brief teaser took us on a boat-train ride through the magical metropolis to give a glimpse at the rich variety of elements and our first look at the characters at the heart of the story, Ember and Wade. Now, the full trailer takes us further into Element City to give us an even better look at how opposites react in the new Disney and Pixar animated-adventure. The trailer introduces each of the four elements. There’s Air, cloud-people who live life on the breeze; Earth, beings who don’t mind getting their hands dirty; and Fire, who live in a suburb of their own due to their obvious risk to others. Water completes the quarter and these living liquids always seem to get into trouble, as evidenced by a flashback to young Wade accidentally winding up trapped in a sponge. And Wade’s go-with-the-flow attitude and thirst for exploration hasn’t diluted with age as his tangle with a water pipe leads to a meet-cute with Ember that causes ripples in a world where elements aren’t meant to mix. As the unlikely pair try to find a way to make their friendship work, they’re launched on hilarious and heartwarming journeys of self-discovery that might just cause a reaction that will change Element City forever.
