In 2016, the breathless robbery-gone-wrong thriller turned the home-invasion-horror dynamic on its head as the desperate burglars became the victims when the seemingly easy target they'd underestimated turned out to be a lethal killer with a dark secret. Stephen Lang steps back into his lead role for a ferocious follow up that forces the blind man out of the new home he’s found for himself having survived the first film in order to hunt down the men who have kidnapped the young girl he’s taken in to raise as his own. Expect more bloody violence and gruesome action as the trailer shows off some more of the sightless man’s remarkable combat skills as he turns out the lights to take revenge against those who have stolen the daughter he’s always wanted away from him. From Don't Breathe writers Fede Alvarez and Rodo Sayagues, with the latter also taking directorial duties this time, Don't Breathe 2 is set to arrive in cinemas August 13.
