Belfast New Trailer

Jamie Dornan, Caitriona Balfe, Judi Dench, Ciaran Hinds, and newcomer Jude Hill shine in the new trailer for Kenneth Branagh’s much-buzzed-about Belfast. It’s the first look at the film since it shifted its release from November to February and the height of awards season is a much more fitting home for a film that’s already garnering a lot of critical attention. With more of its gorgeous aesthetic, cheery sound, irresistible ensemble, and warm tone, the trailer emphasises why this touching story of how a young boy and his family are affected by the outbreak of The Troubles in 1960s Northern Ireland is being tipped for Oscars and BAFTA glory. Based on his own upbringing, writer/director Kenneth Branagh invites you on a trip to Belfast for an unforgettable coming-of-age story in cinemas January 21.
