Abrams is back

When news broke that Episode IX’s original director Colin Trevorrow had severed ties with the studio last week every Star Wars fan was left wondering who Disney and Lucasfilm turn to as his replacement. Now it’s been confirmed: the franchise will return to the safe hands of the director who triumphantly awakened the franchise. J. J. Abrams will direct and co-write – alongside Chris Terrio – the emphatic concluding chapter of the sequel trilogy.
