The trailer introduces Adam Driver as an astronaut, Mills, who’s piloting an exploratory mission into deep space in search of a new planet for humanity to call home. His task of steering the ship and keeping his thirty-five sleeping passengers safe has been going swimmingly for so long, but a rogue asteroid collides with the ship and sends him hurtling down to a strange alien world. Fortunately, the planet has breathable atmosphere, drinking water, and he’s also able to locate one of the surviving children from the crash. The only problem is, they aren’t alone. The mysterious sci-fi thriller has been shrouded in secrecy ever since it was announced, now it’s revealed that what first appear to be unknown extraterrestrial terrors are in fact dinosaurs as Mills discovers that he’s somehow found himself stranded on Earth, sixty-five-million years in the past. Staying silent remains key to survival in the new nerve-shredding cinema experience from A Quiet Place writing duo Scott Beck and Bryan Wood, this time directing from their script, but this time they’re going a whole lot noisier with explosive action sequences as our hero’s quest to get home sees him go head-to-head with different species of prehistoric predator. The trailer is packed full of scares too, and that comes as little surprise seeing as horror legend Sam Raimi is on board as producer. 65 comes to cinemas March 10.
