After tapping into the full power of the Speed Force, Ezra Miller’s Barry Allen aka The Flash travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder. But, a freak encounter with his former self creates a paradox that erases his timeline in a flash.

With no way home, Barry finds himself stuck in a world where no other metahuman has ever existed – just as he sees humanity face the greatest threat it’s ever seen for a second time.

Arriving on a planet without Superman’s protection, the invasion of Michael Shannon’s General Zod is merciless. With the Justice League no more, the Barrys seek out the only human hero who could help: Batman. But, it’s not Ben Affleck’s Bruce Wayne they find, but Michael Keaton’s caped crusader instead, back in the Bat-Suit after thirty years.

Faced with impossible odds, the not-so-dynamic trio will need a Kryptonian to level the playing field. They find a glimmer of hope in Sasha Calle’s Kara Zor-El aka Supergirl, who, once rescued, has the power to defeat Zod.

With the multiverse collapsing in on itself and timelines converging, the past, the Snyderverse, and James Gunn’s innovative vision for a new era collide in an epic film that carries the hope – and hype – for the future of the DCU.

A New DCU

After bringing the colourful of the Guardians Of The Galaxy to energise The Suicide Squad, James Gunn now takes the role of universe builder. His ten-year plan for DC, starting with Chapter One: Gods And Monsters, weaves legacy elements with new characters and standalone stories.

Blue Beetle

Next up at DC is the introduction of a new young hero before the DCEU as we know it ends with Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom.

Superman Legacy

The Flash resets the DCU, but a brand-new Superman brings the true new beginning.

Joker: Folie À Deux

The next DC Elseworlds picture, a sequel to Todd Philips’ smash, brings Joaquin Phoenix back to the role alongside Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn.
