With the return to cinema in the new year becoming an increasingly exciting and realistic prospect, film studios have started setting release dates for more of their delayed films. Disney are the headline makers as Death On The Nile and Free Guy, which were both rumoured to be heading straight to streaming, are thankfully set for theatrical releases in 2021. The star-studded sequel to Murder On The Orient Express is now expected in September while the Ryan Reynolds’ action-comedy will entertain us all in May. Kingsman prequel The King’s Man is also on the move again as it departs its February date for March. Disney aren’t alone in making changes to their calendar as Universal redate their body swap horror-comedy Freaky. The film starring Kathryn Newton and Vince Vaughn was strangely set for Christmas Day, but now finds a more favourable spot in February. While most of the day's attention was on whether Warner Bros would continue with the release of Wonder Woman 1984 despite the closure of cinemas in the capital as London enters tier 3 restrictions, there was some shuffling from them that almost went under the radar as the much-anticipated Mortal Kombat movie will now release in April.
