Sonic The Hedgehog 2 Final Trailer

The trailer begins with Sonic and his new friend Tails crashing a wedding to break the news that Robotnik has returned and that the fate of the world is once again in his hands. Sonic’s superfast rundown of what the sequel has in store is surely enough to send fans rushing to book their tickets, but, if not, there’s also a look at just how much is being taken to the next level and the new players joining the game. From mountain range misadventures, Hawaiian hijinks, and supercharged action sequences in an ancient templte, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 a globe-trotting adventure that’s full of high-speed action plus the humour and video game easter eggs fans enjoyed first time around. We see Sonic and Tails teaming up to take down new and returning threats, Jim Carrey turning his eccentricity up to eleven as a powered-up Robotnik becomes a boss-level nemesis, and there’s new footage of Idris Elba’s Knuckles that certainly packs a punch. With the promise of all of that and so much more, Sonic fans are in for a treat when Sonic The Hedgehog 2 speeds into cinemas on April 1.
