The 24 Hours of Le Mans in France was always won by the prancing horsepower of Enzo Ferrari, in 1966 that was all about to change when Henry Ford hoped of building a Ferrari-beating car to end the Italian dominance. The trailer introduces us to Matt Damon as maverick car designer Carroll Shelby who races against the clock to develop a revolutionary racecar capable of challenging Ferrari’s speed at the legendary endurance race. But as he reveals, it’s not just the car they’ll need to win but a pure racer to get behind the wheel. Enter fearless British-born driver Ken Miles, played by Christian Bale. Directed by 3:10 To Yuma, Walk The Line, and Logan director James Mangold, Le Mans ’66 chronicles the true story as Shelby and Miles battled corporate interference, the laws of physics, and their own demons. Damon and Bale are joined by Tracey Letts as Henry Ford II in a star-studded cast that also includes Jon Bernthal, Caitriona Balfe, Josh Lucas, Noah Jupe, Remo Girone, and Ray McKinnon.
